Gish is a physics platformer game released in 2004 by a small team known as Chronic Logic. Players take control of a blob of tar who can stick to walls, slide through tight spaces, and harden to destroy obstacles and enemies. With use of these abilities, players traverse through the dark underground in search for the blob's companion.

Gish is an early project of the indie developer Edmund McMillen, known for the creation of the indie games Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac.
